Another Big Win For Raila As IEBC Bends To His Will To Move The Election Date

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has finally been forced to push the election date ahead after back and forth with both the opposition and government sides.
Through a notice circulated on social media and mainstream media, the Chebukati commission said it had moved the elections date from 17th of October to 26th of October.

This new date is still within the 60 days stipulated in the Constitution and as directed by the Supreme Court of Kenya in its ruling.
Uhuru Kenyatta had earlier indicated that the elections must be held within 60 days and will be held within 60 days.
Senior Counsel James Aggrey Orengo had said that should the commission fail to hold the elections within the 60 days then Uhuru's term would be expired and thus need for a caretaker government.

The president of the Republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta has expressed his shock and disbelief at the remarks made by the president of the Supreme Court of Kenya David Maraga saying he couldn't belief such remarks were being made in a democratic republic.
He said all the things Kenyans had opposed, one man has decided that he would do anything he wants about them. What followed was the president in expressing his shock in a dramatic tone that left the delegation from the North East in stitches.
Ai ai ai ai ai.
Uhuru Kenyatta was reacting to the Wednesday ruling for the first time saying the judiciary was exercising dictatorship at the least.
He said a few men had decided that they would steal from Kenyans the gains the new Constitution had made.
This is a voice of a few, who on their own decided they can choose a leader for the majority of Kenyans. If this is not dictatorship, I don’t know what it is.
With this statement the president then declared that the Maraga led bench had orchestrated a coup, a coup against the spirit of the new constitution.
The spirit of the new constitution was not to take away the democratic right, which is guaranteed in the new constitution, away from the people.
The president wondered what would have happened with the country had they been dealing with a different president. War would have broke out and the country would have burned.

iHub Limited, GearBox Acquired By BSP Fund LLC


Nairobi's top incubation laboratory, iHub has been acquired by a venture capital company called BSP Fund LLC.
The financial details of the acquisition deal have not been made public even as the firm went ahead to acquire Gearbox too.

The founder and highest stakeholder, together with Josiah Mugambi, of the innovation hub Erik Hersman confirmed the completion of the transaction.
Gearbox is a market leader in hardware prototyping in Kenya. BSP Fund LLC has moved to acquire a majority stake in the firm.

Campus Girl Commits Suicide. Says She Could Not Bear Losing Boyfriend To Another Woman

Love is blind. Love is deadly. Reports say that one campus student from Kabianga University could not bear the thoughts of her boyfriend with another woman and she decided to take her own life.

Speaking to the media, Belgut OCPD, Gerald Mbae said that neighbours discovered the body in the morning and reported the matter to the local chief.
The deceased's house was locked from inside and the police had to break the door to gain access.

In their preliminary report, the police said that she only had injuries around her neck that were believed to have been caused by the nylon rope she used.
 The girl was a fourth-year student studying Communications and Public relations and it is believed she suspected her boyfriend was cheating on her.
She was a firstborn to her family and had one child. Reports showed that she had once attempted suicide about two years ago although the motive was not clear.

Cases of love relationships gone sour are many and most of the victims suffer depression and hurt due to the belief that their lovers would abandon them.

According to Archie Brodsky in "Love and Addiction":

"As with heroin and its irrecoverable euphoria, or cigarettes smoked in routine excess, something initially sought for pleasure is held more tightly after it ceases to provide enjoyment. Now it is being maintained for negative rather than positive reasons. The love partner must be there in order to satisfy a deep, aching need, or else the addict begins to feel withdrawal pain. Their emotional security is so dependent on this other individual around whom he has organized his life, that to be deprived of the lover would be an utter shock to the system of his existence.  For as with heroin and other addictions, it is traumatic for addict lovers to re-enter the broader world with which they have lost touch."

Justice Ojwang Delivered A Three Hour Judgement But Have You Seen The Size Of His Thesis?

Justice Jackton Ojwang' who together with Justice Njoki Ndung'u gave dissenting rulings on the presidential elections petition took a whole three hours to deliver his full judgement.
This long session, plus his eloquence, passion and grasp of the law has kept him trending for nearly 24 hours now with no stopping in sight.
His ruling was a 91 paged document that has given Kenyans a reason to exclaim and make memes to ease the tensions brought about by the case.
But this 91 paged document is a far cry from the thesis Professor Ojwang presented for his final examinations at the University of Nairobi.
His was a six inch high thesis that had never been seen before in this country. He went ahead to become the first law doctorate holder in the history of the University of Nairobi.

Not only is he a great trainer but damn he sure has schooled me on a lot! To top it off he put me on a flexible diet so I'm not eating salads nor adhering to the no carbs after 6 crap. I'm eating delicious throwdowns, less portions & tracking my meals. The thing about the gym is, it's mind over matter. Lift today, be sore tomorrow but you gotta keep at it. Consistency, Patience & Hard work breeds results. The mother of Diamond's two children had earlier threatened to sue Diamond for defamation and was angered by his decision to lie about her knowing about the cheating allegations.

Babu Owino's smooth transition from university students politics to national politics is now facing legal hurdles that are simple yet may end up costing him his seat.
Francis Wambugu, a Jubilee member and Babu Owino's closest rival moved to court on September 5th to challenge his election.
Babu Owino is being accused of failing to file and serve a notice of address of service within 5 days of being given copies of the case documents as stipulated in the election petition rules.
The poll loser wants the court to declare that Babu Owino has conceded to the petition and thus the seat be declared vacant.
It is interesting to see how this will turn out in court. Babu Owino is busy on the campaign trail vouching for the election of Raila Odinga in the upcoming repeat polls.

Things Get Nasty As The Grand Mulla, Dennis Itumbi And Donald Kipkorir Engage In Twitter Feud

Emotions flared after the Supreme Court gave its full ruling on the presidential elections petition that NASA won.
Uhuru Kenyatta's lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi alias The Grand Mullah was one of those reacting to the ruling and he seemed irked by something lawyer Donald Kipkorir said about the whole Supreme Court ruling debate.

DBK, as Donald Kipkorir is popularly know was giving his view on what he thought was being done wrong by the respondents' lawyers.
Things took a nasty turn when The Grand Mullah lost all the chills he had and replied in a way that must have surprised even DBK himself.


 At this point, there was nothing much that could be done to redeem the cordial relationship these two have had on Twitter. Being a lawyer, DBK exercised his right of reply.


The two men were done with each other but somehow government blogger, Denis Ole Itumbi, felt the need to enjoin himself in this Tweep.

He took an L so quick we didn't see it coming.
After that he tweeted his two replies which went unanswered.

BREAKING: Wafula Chebukati Suspends ICT Boss James Muhati, Again

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairman Wafula Chebukati has once again pulled the plug on James Muhati for failing to execute his constitutional mandate.
The purge did not affect James Muhati alone as ICT Manager Boniface Wamae and ICT coordinator Paul Mugo have also been sent on compulsory leave.
The first time James Muhati was suspended it was because he failed to corporate in the IEBC systems audit and was replaced by Chris Msando.
Chris Msando died thereafter and it was said he was the last man seen with the slain ICT manager. Investigations are still ongoing.
James Muhati is among those individuals NASA has been pushing to be replaced saying they have been compromised. They are eleven in total.

DJ Mo Visciously Attacks Single Moms In A Shocking Response To Njoki Chege

Njoki Chege chose DJ Mo as her target last weekend on her weekly column, City Girl, and told him some truths he couldn't bear.
Njoki Chege's article was as a result of DJ Mo stating things he did to confirm that Size 8 truly loved him for whoever he was. The things Dj Mo talked of were truly ridiculous and he got quite a backlash on social media.
In her usual scathing fashion, Njoki Chege attacked DJ Mo even going ahead to say it was the DJ who was lucky to have Size 8 and not the other way round.
DJ Mo took to Instagram to respond to the article asking Njoki Chege to approach him for marriage tips. He asked her who made her the chair lady in the counsel[sic] of apologies.


When Willy Paul reacted to the post saying we all needed people like the DJ in Kenya, DJ Mo said something more bizarre than the tests she put Size 8 to.
I hear she is a single mum she couldn't keep a man!
With this he suggested all single mums were in that position because they couldn't keep men. This is a statement that irked many people who saw this as reckless.
He has since apologized.

Paul Otuoma "Sells His Soul To The Devil", Joins Jubilee

Former Funyula Member of Parliament Dr Paul Otuoma has finally joined Jubilee Party ending his on and off relationship with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
This move was made public by Dr Paul Otuoma at his home during a gathering attended by deputy president William Ruto.
The former minister for fisheries said Raila Odinga had made a huge mistake by choosing to take sides in the gubernatorial race between him and the incumbent Sospeter Ojaamong.
Sospeter Ojaamong first beat him in the ODM nominations, he rejected the results, ran as an independent and lost again in the main elections.
He was part of a delegation from the defunct Western province that visited State House earlier to pledge their support for Uhuru Kenyatta. Others in the group were Cyrus Jirongo and other poll losers.
Paul Otuoma was a chairman of ODM before decamping with Ababu Namwamba who was Secretary General. He was soon back but left again. Now it seems he is out for good.
He said during today's announcement that his political life had been redeemed by Jubilee after a period of suffering in ODM.
