Sossion Has Last Laugh As Union Is Forced To Reinstate Him
Kenya National Union of Teachers officials have been forced to eat the humble pie and reinstate embattled nominated MP Wilson Sossion as their secretary general. Wilson Sossion will resume duties at the union with immediate effect.
Kenya National Union of Teachers acting chairman Wycliffe Omucheyi has in return asked Wilson Sossion to withdraw all the cases he had filed in the courts against the union and its officials.
The acting chairman said that their move is aimed at facilitating harmony at the union that will see them fight as a united front for the welfare of teachers when dealing with their employer, Teachers Service Commission.
This move has dealt the new leadership a humiliating defeat after the coup they staged failed to take its full effect. Wilson Sossion had dismissed the coup as a storm in a tea cup. And so it has come to pass.
Susan Kihika Savagely Attacks Bahati MP For Playing With Her Name
Do not play with Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika's name. This is a lesson that Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri is learning the hard way after he went on television to express his disappointment with the manner in which the senate is handling the Solai Dam tragedy.
Susan Kihika took issue with Kimani Ngunjiri objections with the National Security, Defense and Foreign Relations' decision to prosecute Solai Dam's owner without trial.
She went on Facebook and gave the second time member of parliament a piece of her mind.
Why am I not Surprised by the utterance of one Kimani Ngunjiri, MP Bahati? He was live on TV yesterday morning castigating me and the Senate’s Standing Committee on National Security, Defense and Foreign Relations for visiting Solai on the dam disaster to condole the victims and establish what really went wrong? The post by the former Nakuru County Assembly speaker is going viral and has since been shared by close to three hundred Facebook users.
It has to be because he is clearly an ignorant, illiterate legislator who does not understand the work of a Parliamentary Committee. Well into his second term he should probably get inducted again. Then again that would be tantamount to wasting tax payers money! The case of trying to teach an old dog new tricks.
Being born in Solai does not make him an expert of the dam as he claims. He might have seen it as he walked from his village to school (maybe not to school perhaps to the shops) but that does not make him an expert. What is he so afraid of by letting an investigation take its course? Wouldn’t that be what any objective leader would want to see happen? Isn’t that the most important work of committees in Parliament? Then again how would he know when we have never seen him involved in any serious Parliamentary work?
He claims to have all the paperwork that shows the dam was legal, and that the owner is innocent why hasn’t he produced that paperwork to the investigating authorities instead of just shouting on TV? This is getting interesting, it’s quite obvious whose brief this man is holding!
He needs to get his facts right before coming for me. He might be well advised that am not one who is easily cowed or intimidated and especially not by loud mouth ignorant fools. His sycophantic tendencies based on the highest bidder do not surprise me. Then again it appears like he might be a shareholder, a stakeholder, if you know what I mean!
Someone tell him to stick to his lane and let me do what Wanjiku, Chepkirui, Moraa, Akinyi, Sankale, Nekesa etc (who he may not be familiar with) sent me to the Senate to do.
By the way what was that scandal in the National Papers recently about an MP who presented fake academic papers to the IEBC all about (not that it’s related to any of this), just random thoughts?

Hey @EzekielMutua there is a wildebeest sculpture at JKIA that requires your intervention😂😂😂! pic.twitter.com/A3K7z2uYCX— Boniface Mwangi (@bonifacemwangi) May 13, 2018
From the front, one of the wildebeests seems to be mounting the other wildebeest. From the side however, the wildebeest is actually jumping to avoid being caught by a crocodile.
Ezekiel Mutua took to Facebook to respond to the issues surrounding the sculpture saying it was bizarre and thoughtlessly obscene.
Kenyans on Twitter grabbed the opportunity to roast Ezekiel Mutua in the best and most humorous way they know how.

Ezekiel Mutua Orders Larry Madowo To Urgently Look For A Wife
Kenya Film Classification Board took to Twitter to savagely attack BBC journalist Larry Madowo who had written a Washington Post article in support of the banned Rafiki film.
In the article, Larry Madowo expressed his concerns over laws he termed as dumb and an overzealous censorship board that bans anything it disagrees with.
Ezekiel Mutua was having none of that. He accused Larry Madowo of having no moral authority to lecture anyone on life, family or Godliness. The last part of his tweet asked Larry Madowo to look for a wife.

Larry Madowo, whose being single has been a subject of discussion for many years, is one of the harshest critics of Ezekiel Mutua who is the de facto moral police in Kenya.@LarryMadowo is a successful journalist but he is no paragon of virtue. While acknowledging the fact that everyone else was trying to think of new content, she was struggling to level up her old work.
She says there are chances she might go back to making YouTube videos but for now she is trying to discover what makes her happy.
Here's her full statement.
Going to take down this pic in a few days but I wanted to talk about YouTube. I decided to leave because it wasn’t making me happy anymore. I’ve been making YouTube videos for about 5 years now and while everyone else is trying to think of new content, I’m trying to level up my old work. YouTube is still my favorite social media platform and I know I’ll be back in the future. For now I’m just asking for time to discover what makes me happy. Time with my family, boyfriend and close friends is what is keeping me balanced and stable for this phase of my life so I intend on paying as much attention as possible to them.
Hoping to embark on a wilder, freedom sparked adventure now that I’ve officially moved back to the 254 and I’ll always keep you posted here on my IG.
