An audio of a conversation between Esther Passaris and Governor Mike Sonko is raising many questions. Kenyans continue to absorb the amounts of money being thrown around by politicians in the name of politics.

In the audio leaked to social media, Passaris asks Sonko to lend her 1 million shillings as she heads to visit Raila Odinga.

Is there a consultation fee to see the former Prime Minister?

Sonko agrees but says that he will give her 500,000 shillings for a start.

Passaris can be allegedly heard saying that she will send her PA and that she is at the Intercontinental Hotel.

She adds that she is even staying there.

The cracks in the Kiambu Governor's kingdom showed when residents of Githurai heckled him when he was addressing them. A mixture of tough business conditions and corruption in his reign could only mean that some Kiambu residents are tired of him.
