Figa By Ethic Hits 1 Million Views On YouTube

It's now official. Ethic Entertainment are a big deal in Kenya. Hitting a million views on YouTube by any artist within two weeks is no mean feat. The group, made up of Rekles, Seska, Swat and Zilla released another banger on 20 June that has now joined the million view club.

The song that features radio presenter Kamene Goro was well received and is already getting massive airplay.

Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore Is Dead

Safaricom Chief Executive Officer Bob Collymore has succumbed to Cancer, according to a statement from the mobile service provider.

Bob Collymore passed away at his Nairobi home on Monday morning and leaves behind a wife and four children.

In October 2017, Bob Collymore traveled to the United Kingdom to receive treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia and came back in July 2018 to resume his duties.

The statement released by Safaricom and seen by this news site said he has been undergoing treatment for this condition since then in different hospitals and most recently at Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi.

Unfortunately, his condition worsened in the recent times and he succumbed to cancer today. Safaricom through chairman Nicholas Nganga sent condolences to his family.

On behalf of the board of SAFARICOM.PLC, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, staff, partners and the nation at large who he served selflessly and with joy.
