In a nutshell, tinygrad is a framework that performs network operations on both the CPU and GPU.

Kikuyu Rockstar Muigai wa Njoroge summoned over controversial lyrics

John Muigai Njoroge is an acclaimed popular singer of gikuyu ballads and anti political anthems. However, his new release has landed him in quite the mess.

Failure to attend the appointment will have him being charged for contempt.

The song has challenged the government's running by dynasties for oppressing the poor and in a promise of revolution the poor would overturn the dynasties and divide the land equally.

He also touched on the comical stance wherein the government can't provide masks yet can fit every one in a campaign t-shirt.

Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman confirmed the recovery and subsequent discharge of 175 patients who were under observation and care after being infected with the contagious corona virus.

Baden Powell Statue Boarded up by BCP Council amid Decapitation Fears

The 12 year old statue of scouting founder Robert Baden Powell is to be removed from Poole Quay in Britain to save it after it was listed on a website targeting to pull down all memories of imperialist British achievements. 

Baden-Powell, who died in Kenya aged 83 in 1941, has been criticised by campaigners and lobby groups who have accused him of racism, homophobia and support for Adolf Hitler rubbishing the historical claims that made him a British Boer war hero.

Powell was voted 13th most influential person of the 20th century in the United Kingdom in 2007.

His statue erected just over a decade ago, depicts a seated Lord Baden-Powell looking across the harbour to Brownsea Island, where he started the scout movement in 1907.

Baden-Powell along with his wife founded the scout movement which now boasts 54 million members worldwide.

The statue's removal has been briefly delayed as protesters gathered at the quayside to show support for the statue and values it stands for.

The locals along with former and current scouts have reacted with anger at the planned removal, and the area member of parliament, Conor Burns, described the listing of Baden Powell's statue as a huge error of judgement on the part of the black lives matter demonstrators.

The council has said there were some aspects of Robert Baden-Powell's life that are considered less worthy of commemoration and will discuss with the scout organization a way forward.

Young Woman with Coronavirus Receives Double Lung Transplant in Chicago

A lucky young woman in Chicago hospital has received a new set of lungs after waiting six weeks for her body to clear the corona virus.

This comes after extensive 10 hour surgery on account of her original set being damaged by the corona virus. The procedure was challenging because the virus had left her lungs full of holes and almost fused to the chest wall.

The woman had been on a ventilator and heart lung machine for two months before suitable match for lungs were acquired

She remains on a ventilator while her body recovers from the medical ordeal, and is miraculously stable enough that she can receive visitors and family via video call. 

Medical director of Northwestern Medicine Memorial Hospital's lung transplant programme, Dr Tomic, anticipates that she will have a full recovery in no time and her chances of a return to normal life continue increasing over time. 

With waiting lists going into years, the 20 year old was quickly bumped up the line after doctors noticed that her condition was worsening, with signs that her heart, kidneys and liver were beginning to seize.

Lungs accounted for 7% of the 40,000 organ transplants in United States of America in 2019 .

Kisii in Terror as Demons Possess Cats

Bernard Makori Magare of Nyanko village, Kegati in Kisii is single handedly the item of horror stories of the future.

While in his home, he was attacked by a ferocious cat like creature fully intent on killing him. It started as successive kicks and blows to his head before the sleep was shaken out of him.

In extra-ordinary detail he woke to find the creature purring and slashing wildly giving him only a few seconds to hurriedly grab his machete.

The cat had a red collar and a white cloth tied around it's abdomen, clear marks of the dark arts in this part of the world.

Magare has confirmed that the deployment of djinns and skinwalkers to do away with enemies, rivals or to recruit followers into the realm of black magic is not new to him.

As he battled the demon, his thoughts were fully occupied with preventing it's access to the room in which his children were soundly asleep. At one point he managed to wound it mortally yet the cat did not die, further affirming his belief that it was dark magic at play.

President of The Republic of Burundi, Pierre Nkurunziza is dead. The death of the 55 year old has been likened by many to the captain going down with his ship.

The government of the Republic of Burundi announced with great sadness the unexpected death of His Excellency Pierre Nkurunziza, President of the Republic of Burundi, at the Karusi Fiftieth Anniversary Hospital following a cardiac arrest on Monday, June 8, 2020.

He was undergoing treatment at the prestigious facility after his health deteriorated significantly beginning the night of 6th of June when he attended a volleyball game in Ngozi.

His condition seemed stable enough at the turn of the hour on 7th June before plummeting for the worst and crowning in a fatal heart attack. At a time when his wife had in the past week been flown to Kenya for advanced medical care.

His death comes in the wake of just concluded elections through which he was he was expected to be succeeded by preferred choice, Retired Major General Evariste Ndayishimiye in one of the most democratic polls witnessed in the past years in the East African country.

Led by Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame, world leaders and trade partners have honored the departed president and sent their many condolences to the Republic of Burundi in these horrible times.

Blood in Parliament as Kanini Gores At Aden Duale

Kieni MP Kanini Kega has been leading signature collection for impeachment of Garissa member of Parliament Aden Duale, signalling the woes facing National Assembly majority leader are far from over after 126 MPs from the Jubilee Party signed for his ouster.

Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya who was recently appointed secretary for Jubilee coalition in parliament after a closed door parliamentary group meeting at State House during which the initial move to replace Aden Duale as Majority leader in the August house fell through was not short of words.

In a briefing to the free press he expressed the disappointment of many members in the August house who had anticipated the reshuffling of roles saying, "MPs were left disappointed when Duale was retained in his position."

The Finance Minister of past years argued that the Garissa Township MP had lost the confidence of majority of the ruling party's lawmakers after failing to unite his political troops for a common cause while incessantly involving himself in acts of independence and selfishness.

Light Aircraft Crashes After Hitting Electric Pole in Lamu

Pilot Joseph Mativo Sallya escaped unhurt during the successful landing that quickly decelerated into a sounding crash as his light aircraft smashed it's way to a stand still in Lamu on Saturday June 6th. 

The plane, which belongs to an Isiolo-based company, was carrying over 500kgs of miraa when the accident happened leaving its left wing body joint and one of the propellers damaged.

It all went south for the pilot from thereon after quick verification procedures revealed he did not have any documentation from the Kenya Airport Authority to certify his flying nor a permit of any nature allowing him to ferry the cargo.

Lamu County Commissioner, Irungu Macharia said the private aircraft had landed at Kiunga Airstrip around 2.10pm and the pilot ran aground after erroneously judging the landing strip before smashing into a utility pole.

This comes on the backdrop of three plane crashes since 2014 within Lamu, all without fatalities.

He Is Not My King! Amerix Exposed As The Beta Male He Preaches Against

For a very long time Kenyan Twitter has had colorful Saturdays thanks to one Erick Amunga alias Amerix, a self declared masculinity coach, with his wild and viral hashtag #MasculinitySaturday.

Amerix has for a long time tried to instill his peculiar principles on his ever growing fanbase of men. Among the things he believes a man should do is to always bathe with cold water, eat red meat, and do what he calls 'penetrate.'

Hiding behind a keyboard, he gave the impression that he was this alpha who oozes with gladiator manliness, the type the ladies would follow to the outside orbits. He is constantly preaching the lifestyle of extreme fitness, advocates for the nutrition of athletes and whatnot, so anyone reading his microblogs would expect him to play the part.

When he announced that he was going to appear on an NTV discussion panel alongside Carol Radull among others, many tuned in expecting a showdown. But all Amerix offered was lies and disappointments.

A lot of his followers were surprised to see a skinny man who could not inspire anyone to battle. And as expected, the feminists he has long waged online battles against have been having a field day body shaming him and trashing everything he said during the interview.

In an effort to solidify his gospel of the toxic masculinity, Amerix declared that he is polygamous and boasted of having four wives and two children. In an effort to assert even more dominance, he claimed that he was providing for all their needs and is constantly present for them.

EXCLUSIVE: How Anerlisa Muigai's Sister Met Her Untimely Death

Tecra Muigai, the late daughter of Tabitha Karanja and Joseph Karanja, had a swelling in her brain after tumbling down a staircase in a house in Lamu County, Daily Updates understands.

The doctors we have talked to termed the condition as Celebral edema. This is when fluid builds up around the brain, causing an increase in pressure known as intracranial pressure. Swelling or inflammation is part of the body's natural response to injury. Edema refers to swelling due to trapped fluid, and it can happen anywhere in the body.

Tecra Muigai was reportedly a frequent visitor of Lamu and had arrived in the island in April to see her boyfriend, a Mr Omar Lali. The two allegedly met mid last year and a relationship began.

According to The Star publication that claims to have talked to an officer who is involved with the ongoing investigations, Omar Lali is being held by the police in Lamu for questioning.

The Star reports that the two rented a hotel room at the Manda Diamond Hotel in Shella where they would stay for a week before leaving to rent a cottage in the same island.

Tecra was found unconscious and unresponsive at the bottom of the staircase leading to their cottage. The neighbors who discovered her notified her boyfriend who was reportedly asleep and unaware of the happenings.

The Star claims that a chartered chopper airlifted Tecra to Nairobi for further treatment but she succumbed days later. The Star also quotes anonymous friends who claim that she was conscious at the time she was being airlifted.

President of Tanzania Claims Goats And Fruits Have Tested Postive For Covid-19

The president of Tanzania Dr John Pombe Magufuli continues to shock the world in the way he is handling the Coronavirus pandemic that is wrecking the East African country.

A respected publication, Swahili Times, in Tanzania has reported that the president was doubtful about the high cases of Covid-19 in the country and felt that the tests could be faulty.

In a bizarre move, Swahili Times reports that the president claims that goats, and a number of fruits like Jackfruit and Pawpaw have tested positive for Coronavirus hence there could be a problem with the tests being conducted.

The president also called for investigations into the laboratories conducting the tests saying the men and women could have been compromised by foreign forces.

Confirmed cases of Coronavirus continue to rise in Tanzania with deaths being reported in Dar es Salaam and other regions.

The president declined to shut down churches and other places of worship in Tanzania claiming that God will protect Tanzanians from the disease that has so far claimed thousands of lives across the world.

Many citizens of the country continue with business as usual and very few instances of social distancing have been witnessed.

It remains to be seen whether the president will ramp up efforts to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
