Heroic Teacher Takes 4 Guinness to School

Heroic Teacher Takes 4 Guinness to School

If you thought the world's best teacher from Kenya was the height of achievement for educators in Africa and world over, hear this.

A teacher in Nigeria has 3 Guinness World Records to his name and none of them are for being the most cruel teacher to ever supervise an exam hall.

Adetunwase Adenle is a teacher and creative artist out of Nigeria who has worked with many school going children as well as the Lagos State to achieve these feats which he says are meant to encourage and teach the values of cooperation.

First, he holds a record for the largest painting that has been created by a world record breaking number of people.

This particular piece was created to testify the ability of underprivileged school going children at creating art given a footing and just happened to coincide with celebrations for the nation turning 50.

Second, for the highest number of children reading together in one place simultaneously.

Third, the record for highest number of children washing their hands at the same time done to teach children the essential basics of hygiene

A glowing career for Adetunwase Adenle and an open box of crayons to color the world.

From Dumps to Dunks. Saumu Mbuvi's Treacherous Walk To Marriage

From Dumps to Dunks. The Life of Saumu Mbuvi
Resilient like her father, Saumu Mbuvi 24, is now set to join the walk of the aisle. Far from the regular plank she was almost getting accustomed to.

The mother of two has survived two horrible relationships, one which left her with a charming baby girl for her low days.

Her attempt at business was defeated by an opportunistic leech masquerading as a lover and business partner, Wakanda the club ran aground and with it the love of her then partner.

With authority and surprising non involvement of the ever eccentric Sonko, Saumu has made something out of her lessons in misery and love.

In these prevailing conditions she would have made a proper and ardent toxic feminist whose ideals about feminism are tied strongly to men and their inconsistency.

But she rose, she came above her false starts to establish worth and value on her head and name.

In a photo shared to followers on Instagram, Saumu sits next to her fiancee the acclaimed Lamu Senator Anwar Loitiptip and captions on "Wedding date confirmed."

Saumu wore an adorably boasty fat grin on her face to match the obviously exhilarating moment she had just let the world in on.

Healing Nation, More Recoveries Reported in Kenya

Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman confirmed the recovery and subsequent discharge of 175 patients who were under observation and care after being infected with the contagious corona virus.

Being the largest number of recoveries the nation has witnessed since the pandemic set camp in the nation, the national tally for recoveries came to a whooping 1048 with one more death.

The departed citizen plunged sorrow and grief to kin and care providers as the tally rose to 89.

With 105 new confirmed cases, the total infected stands at 3094 bringing the number of active cases under observation to 1957 spread across the 35 counties that have recorded cases out of 47 counties.

With the controversy about asymptomatic spreading still rife at the world body, the CAS proceeded to direct the launch of home based care which targets to decongest the isolation and quarantine facilities already overwhelmed by 1957 cases.

In the opinion of Dr. Rashid Aman, patients from informal settlements without enough space to self-isolate, will identify facilities in their neighborhoods where they can be isolated as they recuperate.

Dr Aman did not hesitate to point out the vital role played by health givers and care personnel in moving the milestone for recoveries and lauded them, urging fellow Kenyans to do the same.

Baden Powell Statue Boarded up by BCP Council amid Decapitation Fears

Baden-Powell statue boarded up by BCP Council

The 12 year old statue of scouting founder Robert Baden Powell is to be removed from Poole Quay in Britain to save it after it was listed on a website targeting to pull down all memories of imperialist British achievements.

Baden-Powell, who died in Kenya aged 83 in 1941, has been criticised by campaigners and lobby groups who have accused him of racism, homophobia and support for Adolf Hitler rubbishing the historical claims that made him a British Boer war hero.

Powell was voted 13th most influential person of the 20th century in the United Kingdom in 2007.

His statue erected just over a decade ago, depicts a seated Lord Baden-Powell looking across the harbour to Brownsea Island, where he started the scout movement in 1907.

Baden-Powell along with his wife founded the scout movement which now boasts 54 million members worldwide.

The statue's removal has been briefly delayed as protesters gathered at the quayside to show support for the statue and values it stands for.

The locals along with former and current scouts have reacted with anger at the planned removal, and the area member of parliament, Conor Burns, described the listing of Baden Powell's statue as a huge error of judgement on the part of the black lives matter demonstrators.

The council has said there were some aspects of Robert Baden-Powell's life that are considered less worthy of commemoration and will discuss with the scout organization a way forward.

Kisii in Terror as Demons Possess Cats

Kisii in Terror as Demons Possess Cats

Bernard Makori Magare of Nyanko village, Kegati in Kisii is single handedly the item of horror stories of the future.

While in his home, he was attacked by a ferocious cat like creature fully intent on killing him. It started as successive kicks and blows to his head before the sleep was shaken out of him.

In extra-ordinary detail he woke to find the creature purring and slashing wildly giving him only a few seconds to hurriedly grab his machete.

The cat had a red collar and a white cloth tied around it's abdomen, clear marks of the dark arts in this part of the world.

Magare has confirmed that the deployment of djinns and skinwalkers to do away with enemies, rivals or to recruit followers into the realm of black magic is not new to him.

As he battled the demon, his thoughts were fully occupied with preventing it's access to the room in which his children were soundly asleep. At one point he managed to wound it mortally yet the cat did not die, further affirming his belief that it was dark magic at play.

By 6am the mortally wounded cat and the man still faced each other but this time Magare had attracted the attention of his whole village and his children had awoken to the horrible scenes.

A local preacher was invited to dispatch the demon and a shallow grave was dug in time but the village of Nyanko still reels in horror.

Mixed Emotions As Colombus Statue Decapitated

Mixed Emotions As Colombus Statue Decapitated

The wave of declining white supremacists overloading fellow men has peaked with the rallying for removal and total destruction of statues, obelisks and other monuments that serve to glorify the memory of these imperialists.

Christopher Columbus's statues have been at the receiving end of this fury coming off black lives matter protests in honor and memory of all black lives snuffed by white supremacy ideals.

Columbus was an Italian explorer and who completed many voyages across the Atlantic Ocean in claims of escaping imperial Europe.

These voyages and the chance landing on the coast of present day Florida opened the way for extermination of native Indians and permanent European colonisation of the Americas.

In Richmond, Virginia, the home of acclaimed writer Edgar Allan Poe, a Colombus statue was taken down by protesters, set on fire and then dumped into a lake on June 9. Another Columbus statue in Boston was also decapitated as the wave of anti-racism protests continued to rock the country.

Opponents to racial division in New York City also want his 128year old marble statue removed from the pedestal in Colombus Circle outside Central Park.

Protestors in Belgium began the dissension on statues by defacing and eventually removing Colonial Belgian King Leopold's from capital Antwerp.
