Review: Nokia Is Back In Kenyan Shelves With 3 Android Smartphones And A Kabambe
After years of turmoil and rough competition, Nokia is finally making a comeback to the Kenyan market with the launch of three smartphones and a longtime favorite of many in the country, Nokia 3310. All the phones are running on Android, the world's most popular operating system.
The influx of cheap Chinese phones and the continuous launch of high end phones by tech giants like Apple, Samsung, HTC and Sony, Nokia was driven out of the market. The CEO at the time was even famously quoted saying, "We didn't do anything wrong." But now they hope to set their footing in the ever changing mobile market. The millenials, who are the largest consumers of tech products, will be keen to buy phones with high quality cameras, great user interface for their social media needs and the beauty of the gadgets.
HDM Global, a Finnish company affiliated with Nokia has announced that they are introducing Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 3310 to the Kenyan market. We take a look at the phones one by one.
