The 21 year old lady friend of Chris Msando had her life squeezed out of her using a cord-like object like a rope, autopsy results reveal. This is the same style used in the case of Chris Msando albeit his case was likely strangulation by bare hands.

Government pathologist Johansen Oduor said Carol Ngumbu's throat and neck were squeezed. As a result, she died of asphyxia due to ligature strangulation. Asphyxia is a condition of severely deficient supply of oxygen as a result of abnormal breathing.
Carol Ngumbu was the unfortunate collateral damage in the murder of Chris Msando whose death has been deemed by many Kenyans as politically mitigated. Six people have since been questioned in the murder investigations.

Carol Ngumbu has been transferred to a mortuary near the family's Gachie home. She was a student of Kenya Medical Training College waiting to graduate having finalized her studies and internship at Naivasha Sub County hospital.
The bodies of Carol and Chris were dumped in a forest in Kiambu County. Her mother said she was a calm and peaceful child.
