iHub Limited, GearBox Acquired By BSP Fund LLC

Nairobi's top incubation laboratory, iHub has been acquired by a venture capital company called BSP Fund LLC.
The financial details of the acquisition deal have not been made public even as the firm went ahead to acquire Gearbox too.

The founder and highest stakeholder, together with Josiah Mugambi, of the innovation hub Erik Hersman confirmed the completion of the transaction.
Gearbox is a market leader in hardware prototyping in Kenya. BSP Fund LLC has moved to acquire a majority stake in the firm.
