Shortly after their inauguration at Kasarani, president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto threw some of their supporters a party they will probably never forget.
The two who faced the battle of their lives during the just concluded elections were not present at the party hosted at Gallileo Lounge in Westlands.

In a move seen as one aimed at saving face after a sex tape that brought along with it irreparable damage, one of Kenya's top disc jockeys has come out to claim that the sex tape was longer than the video shared online depicted.
The man whose sex tape was leaked and shared widely on social media has since been a subject of ridicule from men and women alike who disapproved of his skills in ways too graphic to publish.
Appearing in a local talk show, Talk Central, hosted by Kalekye Mumo, one of the panelists in the show asked him if he had since learned longevity in bed.
Dj Creme was quick to say that he had not lasted for five minutes in bed and that that clip was five minutes because whoever was responsible for its leakage had bundles constraints.
He also added that his wife had taken the incident very graciously saying she even went on a dinner date with him that night.
Creme also talked about being a bookworm, his music projects and music production which he has ventured into.

The Teachers Service Commission in Kenya (TSC) provides online services for teachers including job adverts, wealth declaration forms, teacher registrations, pension services, National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and application of payslips online. If you are a teacher and you need a payslip copy for whatever reason, you can get it from your phone. The offices of the Teachers Service Commission are located in Upperhill, Nairobi on Kilimanjaro Avenue.

For you to acquire a copy of your online payslip, visit the TSC website www.tsc.go.ke and select online services. To make this easy you can directly access the payslip portal by clicking here
To get a copy of your online teacher payslip in Kenya you need to register first if you have not yet registered for the service. The online portal requires you to be honest and give the following details

1. Your active TSC number in Kenya,
2. Your Full name
3. Your ID number
4. Your Date of Birth
5. Your Tax PIN number (KRA), 
6. Designation code and Pay station code (you can get this by visiting www.kra.go.ke or calling their Customer care)
7. Your Bank account number
8. Your mobile number
9. Your personal email address. 

You will then be required to create a new strong password for later entries into the system

Are These Cracks We See In NASA Coalition's Structure?

After a seemingly united front on Tuesday when Raila Odinga declared that he will swear himself in on December 12, 2017 the NASA coalition camp has issues.
Justin Muturi, who is the Speaker of the National Assembly confirmed and approved the list of NASA members that will be part of House leadership.

John Mbadi, the Suba South MP is the leader of Minority while Junet Mohammed, MP for Suna East is the Minority Whip. Kathiani MP, Robert Mbui and Kiminini MP, Chris Wamalwa are their deputies, respectively.

Opiyo Wandayi  who is the MP for Ugunja congratulated the four and said that he was confident they would respresent the issues raised by the Opposition.
Nominated MP Cecily Mbarire argued that the coalition had been hypocritical in their selection and failed the two-thirds gender rule.
Coast parliamentarians, led by Suleiman Dori (Msambweni) said the list was not fair and was not representative of the wide variety of regions that had voted for NASA during the elections.
Homabay Women Rep, Gladys Wanga defended the nominations, saying that the party would bring women in many other responsibilities.
He said that that the appointments then had fallen short of Standing Order requirements.

Muturi has now asked both Jubilee and NASA to fast track the appointments of other members who will sit in the various House Committees.

The Ministry of Devolution and Planning under Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri is where the money is. After the crazy NYS scandal that saw the former CS, Anne Waiguru step down, the Ministry is in the limelight again. One hundred billion Kenya Shillings cannot be accounted for.A revealing audit report has put the ministry on the spot for their failure to account for the money.

First, the Auditor General Edward Ouko said that the ministry has not yet reconciled issues in the 2015 audit report that could not locate Sh 42 billion.The auditor general reported that the ministry did not offer any explanation  or action taken to recover money spent on transfer to other government units during the 2013/2014 financial year. This amount was not in the budget.Funds transferred to transferred to the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development has not also been supported by transfer dates.In the 2016 report, Sh 60.7 billion could not be  accounted for the financial year.The audit brought back to life the NYS scandal after a physical examination in February 2015  showed that construction work of flats at the  NYS Vocational Training Institute in Industrial Area was abandoned at foundation level.  

There have also been mind-boggling inconsistencies in the disbursements made to semi-autonomous government bodies such as the National Youth Council and President's Award Scheme.
As President Uhuru was sworn in for his second term, the stains from his first tenure will linger on. Corruption in Kenya has gone to levels never seen before.While Kenyans worry where their tax money is disappearing to, nobody really knows. Repeated disappearance of funds have made taxpayers quite insensitive or unaware of the amounts we are talking about.In simple math, 100 billion shillings is 100, 000 million shillings or about 1 billion dollars.Kenya has enough money to pay lecturers, nurses and fight hunger. It is just going to the wrong pockets.

AlShabaab Resurface Killing Two Officers In Kenya Coast

In what is becoming a persistent series of battles drawn along the Kenyan Coastal region, Al-shabaab militants killed two police officers on Tuesday.
A police escort car was ambushed by suspected militants at Nyongoro area and two administrative police officers died in the gunfire exchange. The other officers who were escorting five buses that were headed to Mombasa from Lamu were injured in the ensuing battle.

Larry Kieng, who is the Coast Police Chief said that reports indicated that some GSU officers who also responded to the attack sustained injuries.
The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) that invaded the Boni Forest to flush out militants earlier this year, had helicopters patrolling the area once reinforcements arrived.
Witnesses say the attackers distributed leaflets to passengers that said that they were only after the Government of Kenya.

Sources say that some police officers might have been taken hostage. The attacks especially in Lamu have happened both during the day and night.
Ever since Kenya invaded Somalia, the Al-Shabaab have staged numerous retaliatory attacks that have seen many officers and citizens lose their lives.
The Kenyan Government often is said to avoid telling the real number of security officers that have lost their lives.
In a report by the United Nations, the KDF is on the spot for apparent intentional failure in enforcing a ban on export of charcoal in Somalia.

The report states that ,“African Union Mission in Somalia, whose Kenyan Defence Forces troops are still deployed at Kismayu and Buur Gaabo ports, have neither helped the Somali authorities in enforcing the charcoal trade ban nor allowed the Monitoring Group access to charcoal exporting ports."

Bitcoin Hits Staggering High Of Over $11000

Bitcoin officially passed $11000 mark on Wednesday morning before dropping back to over $10000.
The cryptocurrency tore through $11,000 early on Wednesday 29 November, hours after it passed the  $10,000 mark for its very first time. According to CoinDesk, bitcoin had risen all the way to $11,377.33.

It was back to below $11,000 after an hour as the new milestones made it highly volatile.

"Parabolic rallies are inherently unsustainable, otherwise bitcoin's value would surpass all the wealth of the world within a few years," Ari Paul, CIO and managing partner at cryptocurrency investment firm BlockTower Capital, said . "But ... while the pace of the rally is unsustainable and there will inevitably be corrections and crashes over time, it remains 'cheap.'"

The currency was 6 cents seven  years ago and less than $1000 at the start of 2017.

Going into what might be their hardest five years yet, Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto are on Tuesday morning going to take oath of office before thousands of their supporters at the Kasarani Stadium.
After a bitterly fought dual-leg contest that saw the incumbent president declared duly elected twice, Kenya's political scene has become more complicated. Though largely peaceful, it is clear that the campaigns and the whole electoral process has been very divisive. Rather than uniting Kenyans, the process has resulted in hardline stances.
It will be hard to please everyone in the formation of the next government. Word is already going around that there will be a major cabinet shuffle after today's ceremony.

As he raises the Bible to swear to serve the country, Uhuru Kenyatta knows that there is a lot to be done. The previous five years have been tarnished by corruption and concerns on nepotism and tribalism but he will have to try and reclaim the support of others who do not have faith in him.
Deputy President, William Ruto will also have work to do as he tries to harmonize his mandate and the ambition to take over from Mr. Kenyatta in 2022.

The former governor of Meru County, Peter Munya is finally feeling the bitterness of joblessness as he sought to withdraw his case challenging the election of Kiraitu Murungi.
Moments after his lawyers filed an application of leave which was granted, the former governor told members of the press that Uhuru Kenyatta promised him a job if he withdrew the case.
So much is the governor anticipating the job that he was even heard saying that he is willing to relinquish his leadership position in PNU if the job he is given demands so.
Peter Munya was beaten by more than 30000 votes by old man Kiraitu Murungi. Many believe Munya was swept by Jubilee wave that hit Mount Kenya region. All the candidates with the Jubilee ticket had their money machines oiled by powerful people in State.
Shortly after Kiraitu Murungi was declared governor, Munya joined NASA saying he wanted to be in the right side of history and added that he did not want to be part of a system that rigged him of his victory.

But a meeting in State House days after saw Munya withdraw his support and rejoin the PNU camp that had refused to follow him when he sought a different political road.

KCB Heist Suspects Delivered To Court In Boot Of A Car -VIDEO

After a daring robbery that left the whole country talking, the hopes of the thieves that dug a tunnel into KCB bank in Thika came to an abrupt end. Detectives discovered part of the 50 million shilling loot that was tunneled out of the bank.
While some Kenyans were disappointed in the camouflage skills of the robbers, police were up to make sure that they would be arraigned in court as they deserve.
The three suspects were delivered in the boot of a car to answer to their charges at the Thika law courts earlier on Monday.
