NTV And CITIZEN Shut Down As Government Cracks The Whip
After the drama that was a letter from the Editor's Guild yesterday, mentioning how the media had received a 'dress down' from the government, ominous signs began when #PressPass was pulled off NTV after 10 minutes into the show.
The show's host Mark Masai suddenly bid viewers goodnight after what seemed to be instruction from his producers.
This morning, after NASA supporters start trickling into the Uhuru Park, NTV and Citizen were switched off on all free to air channels.
Later, KTN confirmed that they had also been switched off on those channels.
Most broadcasting continued online at the time of going to press.
