Jimnah Mbaru Asks Kenyans To Stop Talking Politics. It Backfires Badly!
Investment banker Jimnah Mbaru is clearly tired of all the politics in this country, and the swearing in of Raila Odinga and the government's retaliation has gotten into the man's nerves.
He took to Twitter to express his frustration saying if we spent less time on politics, the country would be wealthy.
If Kenyans spent just 50% of their time on economics instead of talking politics, this country would be very wealthy.
Things went nasty real quick as Kenyans on Twitter tore into him in their usual fashion without any stopping in sight. If Kenyans spent just 50% of their time on economics instead of talking politics, this country would be very wealthy.— Jimnah Mbaru (@JimnahMbaru) February 2, 2018

That's a fallacy, politics define the economic agenda of a country. Economic policies are mostly defined by the political class of a country— Muga Jimbo (@MugaThomas) February 3, 2018

If Kenyans spent less time trying to be corrupt we would be very wealthy as a country.
There should also be equity in the country hence the need for politics.
This country can only be wealthy if the level of corruption is reduced significantly. Politics only looks counterproductive if the side you have a soft spot for is underpressure— TOM RADING KUYOH (@TKUYOH) February 3, 2018
If Kenyan politicians spent just 50% of their time on NOT destroying the economy, this country would be very wealthy. https://t.co/olLtnAuLCp— Kinyanjui Kombani (@KKombani) February 2, 2018
