Melania Trump Arrives In Ghana, Headed To Kenya In Maiden Trip

First Lady of the United States Melania Trump has landed in Ghana for her maiden Africa tour where she is expected to visit four countries including Kenya.
Melania Trump touched down in Accra mid morning on Tuesday and was greeted by Ghana's first lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
A young girl offered Melania Trump flowers and a welcoming ceremony staged by dancers in traditional attires as is the norm in most African countries was conducted. She clapped her hands and waved at school children who were present.
Melania later visited health facilities in Accra and met health workers. The general well being of children has been her primary focus ever since her husband ascended to power and she has led campaigns against cyber bullying.
She is expected to make stops in Kenya, Malawi and Egypt. 
The first lady decided to make her maiden trip to Africa without her husband who has in the past lacked any kind words to say about the continent. He has recently tweeted about the mistreatment of Whites in South Africa.
