David Ndii Rubbishes Wetangula's Hot Phonecall Expose On Gold Scam

In his increased activity on Twitter, economist David Ndii can always be found commenting on a trending topic or on how the current government is failing in its duties. A recording of a phone call surfaced online of how Moses Wetangula is allegedly involved in a fake gold scam that involves Arab royalty.

A concerned Kenyan asked him:

He had been talking of the rampant corruption and theft witnessed with the current government.

He responded:

This thing is a cheap fraud. Wetangula talks of Minister (not CS), and the other party retorts that “Minister is in your party (Weta’s party is not in government). This conversation, if it happened at all, took place during the Grand Coalition. https://t.co/CpTinpnf3j

He argues that this call is not recent enough to be connected with the latest fake gold scandal but seems to agree that it is indeed the politician speaking.

In recent weeks, several conmen have been arrested for their deals in fake gold with foreigners.
