Terrified Woman Had To Play Dead To Evade Riverside Attackers

A Kenyan recounted her horrific ordeal during the Riverside attack where she had to smear herself with blood and play dead to avoid death. Unfortunately, her colleagues did not make it.

As shock continues to sink in over the horror at 14 Riverside during yesterday's terror attacks, stories keep emerging of strong Kenyans who made it despite the odds that they faced.

A woman tweeted her ordeal;

Was caught up in the #14riverside attack.
My colleagues were shot right infront of me 😢
I was forced to use their blood on me, and remain still so that they would think i was dead too 😭
I made it out alive.
I am greatful beyond words.

The President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, has come out to say that the siege is over and that all the militants were killed. He added that 14 persons lost their lives during the incident.
