Four Years Later, Where Are KCPE 2013 Top Ten Candidates?

After the release of the 2017 KCSE results by Education CS, Fred Matiangi, all outlets splashed news on how the girl child had performed better. This came as a realization that gender should not matter in performance and tailored curricula should make it possible for any student to perform well.
When top students gain admission into the top secondary schools, we assume that it should be the same four years later when they sit for their KCSE.
In 2013, the top performing students in KCPE were;

Brian Kimutai (Stewards Light School, Nandi) – 444
Otieno Akoth (Golden Elite Premier, Kisumu) – 444
Uniter Riziki (Kathigiri B, Meru) – 442
Boera Felix (Vitale HGM, Makueni) – 442
Koskei Kipkurui (St Mary's Ruaraka, Nairobi) – 442
Emanuel Muyali (Thorn Tree School, Kajiado) – 442
Omondi Lydia (M M Shah, Kisumu) – 441
Yujin Mosongo (Kenvic School, Kajiado) - 441
Dorcas Cheruiyot (Kericho Primary, Kericho) – 440
Masila Timothy (Newlight Komarock, Nairobi) – 440
Onyango Elizabeth (Tender Care, Nairobi) - 440
Ndete Velma (Thorn Tree School, Kajiado) -440

In 2017, the top  KCSE performers were;
1. Karimi Naomi Kawira - Pangani Girls
2. Sharon Chepchumba - Moi Girls Eldoret
3. Kamau Brian Maina - Alliance High School
4. Donata Odero - Lenana School
5. Harriet Mweke - Maryhill Girls
6. Brian Ongiri - Kanga High School
7. Moraa Mongina - Pangani Girls
8. Mwatate Emily - Pangani Girls
9. Wahome Wanjiku - Moi Girls Eldoret
10. Onyango Stanley Omondi - Maranda High School

None of the top 10 in the 2013 primary school examinations appeared in the 2017 list.
This means you have to be one special student to appear in both.
Consistency.
