Tributes Flow In As Legendary Rock Drummer Ginger Baker Passes On
After news that legendary drummer Peter Edward "Ginger" Baker had passed on, tributes keep coming to celebrate the man who is referred to as "rock's first superstar drummer."
His official Twitter account shared the news;
The English drummer was the co-founder of the rock band Cream after playing drums since he was 15.We are very sad to say that Ginger has passed away peacefully in hospital this morning. Thank you to everyone for your kind words over the past weeks.— Ginger Baker (@GingerBDrums) October 6, 2019
He was 80 at the time of death.
