CS Matiang'i Ready To Make Heads Roll In New Position

In his famous and highly effective 'Matiang'i style', Interior CS a.k.a Head CS Dr Fred Matiang'i is ready for work. He says the corrupt better run because he is coming for them. His bulldog demeanour means once he starts fighting, he never lets go.

Speaking publicly for the first time since his appointment in the new position, Dr Matiang'i says he has one job : fight corruption to allow the government development agenda to work.

He promises to give his best and confirmed that in this new dispensation, it is the role of the Cabinet Secretaries to ensure that corruption is eliminated in their respective ministries.

"By all means possible" means the super CS has been given authority to apply his no nonsense tactics to fight the vice that has eaten deep into Kenyan resources.

He validated his one-man approach type of management started by the President as a method to fight  bureaucracy and streamline government efforts in making the Big 4 Agenda successful.

Bureaucracy has often led to loss of public resources as well as time. When development is managed from one point, it becomes easy to know what is being done where, by who and for how long

The main reason government projects delay is the lack of clarity on who is supposed to sign off projects, which has led to billions in losses.

Rumours thrown around claim that the new position was to undermine DP Ruto's 2022 ambitions but he said it is a strategy to deliver promises to Kenyans first.

Dr Matiang'i was speaking in Kitutu Masaba constituency during the funeral of the dad to area Woman Representative Jerusha Momanyi.

President Kenyatta recently reminded the twenty-one Cabinet Secretaries that he was ready to fire anyone who would not support his agenda as it would ruin his legacy.
