Missing Person Case That Has Shaken Dandora
Caroline Mwatha Ochieng went missing on Wednesday morning. Efforts to reach her phone have proven futile. What worries many in Dandora is that the missing woman is an activist of extra-judicial killings.
Ever since young women and men started disappearing in Dandora and its environs, activists have incessantly petitioned the government.
They have accused the police of laxity that has led to the disappearances.
In some cases, they even accuse the police of being responsible for the missing person cases.
Ms Ochieng is a founder member of the Dandora Community Justice Centre, an outfit that has looked into the cases of those harassed by the government and its arms.

Last seen at her home on Wednesday morning, friends and family are now alarmed with speculations on rife as to what might have happened to her.

The human rights activist has been at the forefront of fighting for the rights of suspects and innocent people arrested by police in the area.
