Esther Passaris Comes To Babu Owino's Aid As He Is Released From Custody
Controversial and youthful Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has been released from police custody on a Sh500,000 bail. He was being held over subversion charges.
Why granting bail, Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi said Babu Owino must provide two sureties that must be people of equal standings.
A surety is a person obligated by law under which one person agrees to pay a debt or perform a duty if the other person who is bound to pay the debt or perform the duty fails to do so.
The two will each sign a bind of 1 Million.
Esther Passaris, as suggested by James Orengo, will be one of the people signing the surety bond alongside Johnston Muthama.
