Drivers, Avoid These 3 Things And You'll Probably Avoid An Accident

While a famous proverb states that accidents have no prevention, this is not entirely true. During this festive season, Kenyans have been treated to a horror series of accidents that have claimed lives of many. News outlets have continually had to break this sad news.

No one hopes to get into car accidents but things happen and you better try as much as you can to reduce your chances of being involved in one. The first rule is always ' Be the smartest driver on the road.' This means that you should not assume that every other driver is as sane as you are. Avoid the ego contests, save your life.

Here are the top 3 things you should avoid to boost your chances of arriving at your destination;

The roads have a speed limits for a reason. Stay within your limit and you will probably survive. Don't race your Probox- It is NOT a race car!

Get proper rest before your drive. While drivers of public service vehicles rush to get more trips, they end up getting tired. It only needs a few seconds of no concentration and that's it. Drive only when you are not extremely tired.

Intoxication/ Drug Use
The intoxication will lie to you that you can drive. No, you cannot concentrate or make proper decisions when you are drunk or high. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
