Staunch William Ruto Ally Abandons Him For Uhuru Kenyatta

A strong and much needed ally of deputy president William Ruto from Mt Kenya region has declared that he is shifting his allegiance from the deputy president to President Uhuru Kenyatta whom he has said will offer guidance on the 2022 elections.
The senator of Murang'a County Irungu Kang'ata has said that the deputy president is his friend and therefore he will not malign his name or campaign against him.
While serving as the member of parliament for Kiharu Constituency, the youthful senator organized numerous meetings for Ruto in Murang'a and even publicly declared that they would vote for William Ruto as a county.
The man is now moving away from the 2022 agenda saying that he was doing this so that he would focus on development for his people and avoid being drawn into endless politicking that many politicians have immersed themselves in.
The deputy chief whip in the Senate says that he is heeding to the call of President Uhuru Kenyatta that politicians should abandon crisscrossing the country at the expense of development. Kang'ata says he shall await the president's direction on the matter.
This is coming just a few days after a group was created to allegedly defend the president from the Tanga Tanga movement. Some members of the group include election losers like Maina Kamanda, Peter Kenneth and Martha Karua. They have organized rallies that will be rolled out in due time.
Murang'a Women Representative Sabina Chege has dismissed the group and asked people not to take it seriously. She is a close ally of the deputy president.
