Dennis Oliech : I Will Only Consider Retirement After 4 Years

Kenya football legend and Gor Mahia marksman Dennis Oliech say he still has four years to play. Critics say that he should have retired already but he answers back saying he still has a lot to give.

Asked whether he will feature in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Oliech says that if selected, he will be very happy to represent Kenya.

I will go and I will make sure I represent Kenya in the very best way I can.

When asked about his tendency to disagree with coaches, he says he only speaks up as the most experienced player. He says his work is to represent the other players in voicing their issues.

While a player at Nantes, Dennis 'The Menace' Oliech became famous for his attendance to lavish parties and dating high profile women.

Media reported how he became broke when he stopped playing international club football.

He says these stories really troubled his mother and family.

His mother succumbed to cancer after battling the disease for many years.

When asked if re entering into active football will ruin his legacy, Oliech says that he is only doing what he loves. He says football makes him happy and playing for Gor Mahia has been a childhood dream.

He has already scored for Gor Mahia.
