How DCI Kenya Busted Inexperienced Thug Stealing At JKIA

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Saturday released a video of one Evans Okola Agunda stealing luggage straps belonging to the African Freight Services at JKIA. His accomplice was an intern called Mercy Chepkorir.

The inexperience of the culprits is there to be seen as they did the theft in full view of CCTV cameras.

The video shows Mr Agunda walking around a vehicle (Toyota Prado) as if sizing and looking out if anyone is around.

When he thinks all is safe, he takes the straps and puts them in the car.

All this time, the CCTV is recording his every move.

DCI posted the video on Twitter and captioned it;

An Aircraft Marshaller @KenyaAirports -Mr. Evans Okola Agunda and an intern-Ms. Mercy Chepkorir, were arrested early today after being spotted stealing luggage straps belonging to the African Freight Services at JKIA. The two suspects are in custody and will be charged on Monday.
Mr Agunda is a KAA Aircraft Marshaller while Ms Chepkorir is an intern.

It seems they intended to sell the straps to a willing buyer outside the airport.

They are in police custody and will be charged on Monday in court.
