Kenyatta Family: Come to Our Airport, It Is Called Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

As Kenyans continue to react to the news that it is possible the Kenyatta family is after  JKIA, it is sinking in that the airport bears their name. Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is named after Kenya's first president Jomo Kenyatta, who was the patriarch of the Kenyatta family.

The National Assembly of Kenya continues to join the dots and prove that CBA bank and the planned takeover of JKIA are linked.

Broke Kenya Airways (KQ) has revealed plans to take over the management of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Nobody is clear on the other shareholders of KQ and legislators suspect that the first family is behind the planned takeover.

Some sections of the media report that out of all planes that KQ operates, over 80% are hired and do not belong to the national carrier.

KQ is in massive debt and owes the following:
CBA Group Sh3.1 billion,
NIC Sh2.1 billion,
Equity Bank Sh5.2 billion,
National Bank Sh3.5 billion,
Co-operative Bank Sh3.3 billion,
DTB Sh2.1 billion
KCB Group Sh2.1 billion.

The first two lenders recently announced a merger engineered by the Kenyatta family.

Kenya Airports Authority CEO John Andersen claimed that he had no details of who is behind the looming takeover.
