Super CS Matiang'i Expands His Territory As He Warns Driving Schools

We will bet that not many of you knew driving schools fell under the Education ministry. Or is it the Interior Security docket? We are not really sure.
For a man who has all but straightened the education sector, his pursuits were just starting. His announcement came as a shocker when CS Fred Matiang'i  announced that the government will deregister all driving schools and register them afresh.
This move is aimed at eliminating cartels that provide fake driving licenses and insufficient coursework and practical lessons for Kenyan drivers.
The country has seen a scary increase in accidents over the last month that has forced the government to act.

Speaking at the same function, Transport CS James Macharia said that more tests would be added for drivers to limit the schools from churning out unqualified drivers. These would include medical tests among others.

Many driving schools have mushroomed in local estates as a money maker for businessmen. While the traffic department cracks down on driving licenses, many have benefitted from this schools buy gaining licenses faster than should be.

They should also probably crack down on public service vehicles with scary messages such as these;
