In a series of tweets, the Canada based lawyer says:
"Power is in our minds, our energies, our time, our efforts and our numbers. Power is not money. Power is not weapons. Power is not the offices the few tyrants occupy and abuse. The oppressed and economically exploited... are in our millions while the tyrants are a tiny fraction"— Dr. Miguna Miguna (@MigunaMiguna) March 12, 2019
"We are more powerful - collectively - than they are. All we need to do is stand up - together - and stop looking for excuses. We need to organize and mobilize fearlessly in order to throw off the shackles of oppression, exploitation and injustice..." from https://t.co/qg17GznWGw— Dr. Miguna Miguna (@MigunaMiguna) March 12, 2019
Those arguing that Kenyans cannot execute a revolution because the Kenyan police are more brutal than their Algerian counterparts are just cowardly. Idi Amin, Bokassa, Ceausescu and Pinochet were overthrown by revolutions even though their brutality and canibalism were unmatched— Dr. Miguna Miguna (@MigunaMiguna) March 12, 2019
Poverty, joblessness, brutality, tribalism and murder have been used to inflict fear and division among the 99.9% of Kenyans in order to prevent a revolution. The Burkinabe used these instruments of fear to ENERGIZE their revolution. Kenyans must do so, too. #NationalOilScandals— Dr. Miguna Miguna (@MigunaMiguna) March 12, 2019
He faces harsh resistance from elements in the country who consider him a threat to their power.
