In a great shocker, the police has issued a statement claiming the deputy president's Sugoi home was attacked by a machete yielding man and not armed gunmen as earlier claimed by the mainstream media. In a a statement allegedly dispatched to major media houses in the country and now being circulated on social media, the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet has also stated that neither the deputy president nor any member of his family was in the home when the attack occurred.

The Inspector General admits that the officer manning the gate was disarmed and hit several times under unclear circumstances. He also said the injured police officer is alive and in stable condition.
Is DP William Ruto's Home Attack Being Stage Managed? 
In circumstances that are yet unclear, he hit an officer on duty severally with a machete and managed to enter the farm complex. Other officers were quickly mobilized and the intruder was forced to hide at a building that is still under construction near the gate.
