Poor father of 5 who couldn't stand lockdown hunger cries after receiving gift
That the pandemic is punching harder at those who live at the poverty line than any other is a no brainer.

With extended lock downs and cessation of non essential services world over, one cobbler in Ghana had been brought to the doors of death and was ready to die of the popular corona virus rather than watch his family die of hunger.

The head of a 6 person household speaking to concerned parties who were attracted to his open business in spite of the government imposed cessation said he was hoping to make a meagre amount that would help his household stave of hunger for the day and that it was not his desire to disregard the state.

The 56 year old man identified as Opani Sarfo has since then been benefited from the purse of Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng led Crime Check Foundation to a sum of Kes18,000.

The foundation works out of Virginia in the United States of America.

Mr Opani was overwhelmed by this response to his plight and broke down in gratitude.

Profoundly blessing and thanking his benefactors, Opani determined to stay at home and manage the finances properly.

His humility and gratefulness impressed many people and as many wished him well.
