David Ndii has clearly been the most vocal in the NASA camp, while he agitates for a fair election and has been forefront in pushing for the secession of Kenya on the basis of past injustices.

National Super Alliance (NASA) strategist David Ndii appointed to head the opposition’s People’s Assembly National Steering Committee.
He is appointed to a team comprised of Judy Sijeny, Hamida Kibwana, Dr. Mutakha Kangu, Oduor Ong’wen, Koitamet ole Kina and former East African Legislative Assembly MP Peter Mathuki.
Their role is to discourse on how to reclaim democracy and justice in Kenyan politics.

On Saturday, Dr. Ndii  issues a statement saying the Opposition was “prepared to do everything it takes to attain electoral justice in the country.”

Family cannot trace him and initial reports indicate he was being held at Diani Police Station.
In a statement to newsrooms, Raila Odinga’s advisor Salim Lone says his family could not find him at the said police station.
No reason was given for his arrest at the time.
Supporters on social media start pushing for his release
Details emerge that officers were from Flying Squad Unit, Nairobi.
Coast Regional police commander Larry Kieng contacted about the situation.
“I am not aware of any such arrest and I do not know where he is,” said Mr. Kieng .
 Msambweni OCPD Joseph Chebusit claims he is not aware of the arrest adding; “that name is strange to me.”

Dr. Ndii will record statements with officers from the Serious Crimes Unit over alleged incitement of citizens.
He is to be interrogated at the DCI headquarters, Kiambu Road on Monday morning.
"It is true that we have him. He will record a statement with us," a source at DCI headquarters said on Monday.

The office of the DPP (Director of Public Prosecutions) directs that Dr. Ndii be released on a cash bail of Ksh 10,000
Raila Odinga condemns the acts. Says it a move to intimidate the opposition camp.

The country is jittery over the declaration that NASA coalition will swear in Raila Odinga on 12th December 2017.
