Marauding Gang Unleashes Terror And Death In Mucatha, Kiambu

Residents in Mucatha, Kiambu County are nursing injuries and planning funerals as a result of a ruthless gang that has been killing and maiming residents. The puzzling bit is that they do not steal anything and it raises questions about their motives.

Nairobi News reports that the knife-wielding gang has left about eight people dead within a month. 12 more victims have been left with serious injuries.
What the locals do not understand is the motive of the gang, who are not known and do executions in a similar style.
The locals say that the victims are stabbed on the chest, stomach or ribs, and all post-mortem analyses show that one of their main blood veins and liver cut, and in most cases, the gang flees without robberies.
The area MP, Paul Koinange organized a baraza on insecurity but five days later there was another incident.
During the incidents, two people were injured and one is in serious condition at the Kiambu Level Five Hospital after he was stabbed on the ribs.
“These are not normal crimes because the killers would have at least taken away his belongings,” a devastated mother of a victim said.
Residents asked for government assistance as the police have been outsmarted.
