Do These Ten Things As A Student To Pass Exams

Studies show that the best time to study is between 4 am and 6 am where brain function is 100%. Between 6 am and 7.30 am, brain function is at 50% and brain functions at 20% during night time. Though these results are debatable, here are tips that will help you perform better in your exams.

  1. Read ten times, say ten times, write twice - This is the best way to memorize something for your exam.
  2. Use more blue ink - Your brain easily remembers content written in blue ink than that written in black ink
  3. Take a walk before your exams - A simple brisk walk of slightly over 10 minutes can result in better blood flow to boost your memory during class
  4. Study immediately you get home - With information still fresh, you can retain more if you revise what you learned during the day on the same day.
  5. Discuss in groups and teach others - When you repeat and teach someone what you learned, it sticks better in your memory.
  6. You should include grapes in your diet - Eating grapes helps your brain to process new information through the nutrients your body absorbs.
  7. Speak your notes loud whenever you can - You are more likely to remember something that you speak out loud.
  8. Visualize and meditate before the paper - To relieve exam stress, meditation can help you clear your mind.
  9. Take breaks between study sessions - Avoid bulk reading for hours as you lose concentration after a while. Do short chunks of 30-50 minutes each and take breaks in between.
  10. Fancy chocolate during your study sessions -Eat chocolate whenever you can as you study as it is linked to better memory balance

If you are strategic in your studying, you will greatly increase your chances of passing exams.
