Uber Introduces New App For Broke Riders
Taxi hailing company Uber, has introduced a new app called Uber Lite to cater for broke riders. However, this does not mean that the prices of a taxi ride will go down. Rather, the lightweight app is excellent in conditions where users want to save mobile data or the network is poor. Here is how to download;
The announcement, shared via email to Uber users is a relief to users who complained of the app using heavy data in their phones.
That’s why today, we’re introducing Uber Lite: built in India, designed for the world. Uber Lite is a simple version of the rider app that saves space, works on any network, and on any Android phone.The app is less than 5MB to download.
The smaller app frees up space for other apps and has a 300-millisecond response time for loading.
