Awkward! Raphael Tuju Reads News Criticizing Uhuru Kenyatta
Former TV professional and current Cabinet Secretary without portfolio, Raphael Tuju, found himself in an uncomfortable position on Friday morning. This is when he had to read news criticizing President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is his boss and head of the Jubilee Party.
Tuju, returned to the screens for this week's edition of the "Leadership Forum" on NTV, due to his experience as a former journalist
The secretary-general of the Jubilee Party acted as an anchor and read news on how Kenyans had turned Uhuru Kenyatta into a "punching bag" to vent their anger and frustrations, both online and offline.
The current high cost of living has seen many Kenyans directing their anger at whatever President Uhuru Kenyatta says, whether off line or on line. President Kenyatta's social media accounts are full of angry reactions from citizens who have turned the president into a punching bag on which to release their bile and anger...Mr Tuju was visible unsettled as he read the piece but his professional training ensured that he could not act out until he finished the session.
