Tough Days Ahead. Governor Okoth Obado Denied Bail, To Stay Longer In Jail
Migori County boss Okoth Obado's bail application has been disallowed by Judge Jessie Lessit. This means that the embattled governor will have to stay at the Industrial Area remand prison until the 8th of October.
The judge delivered her ruling in a courtroom at the Milimani Law Courts. Both Obado and his personal assistant will be held at the same prison.
