Has Moha Jicho Pevu Gone Broke?

Moha Jicho Pevu, the man who promised Kenyans fireworks in parliament, has performed so poorly that many, including his friends and peers, are even starting to question what his intentions were right from the beginning of it all.

Moha Jicho Pevu, the man who promised Kenyans fireworks in parliament, has performed so poorly that many, including his friends and peers, are even starting to question what his intentions were right from the beginning of it all.
An avid reader of this blog wrote to us asking what is the financial status of Mohammed Ali after he saw him doing things that could suggest that he is not doing so good.
I saw him taking his clothes to some laundry shop behind the Laico Regency Hotel and he did not have a bodyguard or a personal assistant as many of his peers usually do. I also found it unusual that a member of parliament was running such errands when there is so much to do in parliament and on the ground in Nyali.
The reader sought to know what was happening. We contacted Moha Jicho Pevu but we had not received a response by the time of publication.
Moha had earlier alluded to financial difficulties on a television show saying he, and many other youthful MPs, had spent so much money in the campaigns and in the court cases that followed. He asked to be given more time to work for his constituents during the same interview.
The fact that he ran as an independent candidate without the backing of a war chest that political parties usual possess means that he spent quite a fortune and could still be in debt.
We are still waiting.
