I Don't Need Your Votes, Uhuru Tells Ukambani And Threatens Local Chiefs

Uhuru Kenyatta has told a gathering Makueni County that he does not need their votes next week to beat Raila Odinga next week. He asked the residents to vote for him but added that they could vote for whoever they wanted.
I assure you we will put Raila Odinga where he belongs.
Speaking in the same tone he warned the local chiefs who were campaigning for the opposition saying he was aware of what they were doing. The president reminded the chiefs that it was Jubilee who provided them with the motorcycles they were using to mobilize voters for Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka.
Uhuru Kenyatta further promised them unmentioned disciplinary action after the general elections that are just less than a week away.
Ukambani is largely pro opposition with its leader being the running mate of NASA presidential candidate. Any politician who chooses to go against the grain is said to have written their own political obituary.
Machakos County governor Alfred Mutua is now facing the battle of his life after deciding to decamp from Wiper and form his own party Maendeleo Chap Chap. Kalonzo Musyoka has thrown his weight behind the candidature of Wavinya Ndeti.
