Breaking: Al Shabaab Say Nairobi Attack Was A Response To Donald Trump's Actions

A tweet by a Voice of America journalist said the Nairobi attack was in response to US President Trump's "witless remarks" and his declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

On January 15, Kenyans suffered a terror attack at an office complex near Westlands, Nairobi. The attack left 21 people dead according to statements by the Kenya Police.

As at yesterday, 50 persons were still missing according to the Kenya Red Cross. This number is expected to have gone down to 43 by today.

A tweet by a VOA journalist says the operation was code-named “Al-Quds will never be judaized”. Al-Quds is a city divided between east-central Israel and the Israeli-occupied West Bank, presently known as Jerusalem.

Sources had said that the attack was targeting a meeting that was to happen on the same date at 14 Riverside. The meeting was comprised of a huge number of American citizens.
